Dear John, I just want to tell you how delighted I am with the new Direct Waters "Chatsworth" water filter system. As you are aware I changed from a stainless steel Franke unit and it could not have been simpler. I removed the whole Franke unit and the "Chatsworth" housing fitted easily into the same place - just a little adjustment. I connected the water pipes into the housing myself, no plumber needed. Because the unit is so compact and light it was easy to click the cartridge into the housing and it will be simple to replace the cartridge when required. I have purchased a 1600 GPD system for our kitchen (under sink) because we prefer drinking RO water for quite a long time now. Also I am an Aquarium owner and need bigger amounts of RO water from time to time. After some issues in installing, the system turned out to be very powerful and effective. The communication prior to purchasing the water filter was very good. All questions were answered well. I decided to go with this filter as it was the only one that removed endocrine disruptors in the UK. The filter came within a couple of days of ordering and was well packaged. It was fairly easy to install considering we have zero DIY skills. The video that John sent was also helpful and we had a couple of questions while installing and he was on hand to answer them. After installation, I would suggest running the filters for at least 30 minutes before using it as I found the water tasted better then. It's been a month now and we are very happy with our purchase. The T-241 pressure regulator is a forward pressure regulator that controls upstream pressure fluctuations to critical points of use. The T-241's internal parts have been significantly improved for optimum purity and minimal particle shedding. The wetted elastomers have been upgraded to premium materials, and internal surfaces have been enhanced.
