After three months of continuous use, the HEPA 13 membrane becomes saturated with all of the contaminants it as removed from your air. The Activated Carbon also reaches saturation after three months of absorbing odors, chemicals, VOCs and more.

HEPA-13 is medical-grade purification technology that traps 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, and 99.95% of particles down to 0.1 microns in diameter.

This air purifier does what it says it does. We’ve had this for a week and our air is a lot cleaner. When I first set it up, my air quality was 385 which is awful. It ran for several hours on red then eventually made it down to moderate air quality (yellow) then eventually made it down to 003 Good air quality (blue). It helps with the dog smell and I no longer smell the dog in the room. I’d you’re in the market, you will not be disappointed in this unit. I also love the subscription for the air filters, will make it easy to make sure I have filters when it’s time to replace.

Filters with a lower HEPA number (e.g. HEPA-11 and True HEPA) aren't as good at trapping particles, which means there are more contaminants in the air you're breathing at home.

Easily wipe-off the dust, dirt, pet hair and allergens trapped here with a damp cloth or paper towel if desired but not necessary.
