My eldest who is now in Kindy comes to the centre and is greeted warmly with genuine happiness by staff who have known her since she was 6 months old. I wholeheartedly trust the staff who i have known for many years now and i am always surprised by the amazing things my kids share with me after a day at Toybox. Everything from a new song they learned to sing in Spanish, or telling me about the solar system through to eating great nutritious food (when i couldn't get them to eat a vegetable at home!).

“Our family just loved the time we spent at Toybox North Sydney. The Carers are all so loving and generous with their time, they make the effort to get to know each of the children personally. Every day is full of fun activities, and the kids enjoy every day. Excellent communication via the LIFT portal, as well as regular emails with updates of what the children have been up to. I also got some photos by Whatapp which was so special. All of these helped me to converse with my 4.5yo about her day, and extend learning to home as well. Parents were regularly invited to special events, Mothers/Fathers Day, Christmas Party, Halloween Party to name a few. Other celebrations were recognised, and celebrated by the kids e.g. Diwali, Chinese New Year, Valentines Day. It helped mum and dad feel very much included in everything. For a city-central facility, they really have a lovely outdoor area for the children to play in, with a garden and worm farm. Inside is equally as fun: an indoor play area, dining area, reading area, and separate rooms for the different classes. Every room was colourfully decorated with artwork done by the children, and photos of them with their families. We really are going to miss Toybox and the Educators, and I hope this review has helped you choose them!”

I must admit Toybox wasn’t my first choice as my employer operates their own childcare which was completely full at the time I was looking for care. How sorry I am that Toybox wasn’t my FIRST choice and will only be my choice for any subsequent children we have. The daycare is small but makes up for it in the huge amounts of love, care and attention the staff show not only my son but all the children in their care. I can’t fault the Centre. It’s very difficult leaving your child with people you don’t know however several months on all the educators know my son even the ones that don’t have him in their room. My son eats better at daycare than he does at home and he’s learnt wonderful little skills which he now uses at home (such as helping Mum wipe down surfaces to clean and also helping Mum and Dad pack away toys).
