Rick loved riding his motorcycle, shooting pool and playing in pool tournaments. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was born Oct. 17, 1958 in Coshocton to William “Eddie” and Geraldine (Mizer) Deringer. He was a 1977 graduate of River View High School, and drove truck for many years, which he enjoyed.

He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Deringer of Coshocton; children, Kim Deringer of Mt. Vernon, and Travis Deringer of Coshocton; step-children, Chris Randles, Shanna Newell, and Nikki Newell, all of Coshocton; grandchildren, Megan Deringer, Brandon Deringer, Keyonnah Deringer, Thomas Wisecarver, Nevaeh Rice, and Eli Randles; a great-granddaughter, Katherine Edinger; a sister, Rhonda (David) Sees of Coshocton; nephew, Shawn Sees of Coshocton; niece, Mandy Sees of South Carolina; and several cousins.
