Floor trap is another useful thing, it allows the big particles to trap within the floor trap itself. While cleaning you may have faced a problem in which the big particles may have settled down in the floor drain and it creates problems by blocking the way.

In-Floor drain one can only drain the liquid substances through it, or very minute substances from there because it has small holes. Whereas in the Floor trap the sizes of holes are comparatively big, so with water some substances can also get collected at the corner in the floor trap itself.

Although, both of them have their own importance and are used at their own respective places. But the floor trap has two functions that are to drain the liquid, the second one is, it has a small pocket like a thing which traps all the particles. Floor drain only drains the water, if by chance any big piece of dust came into the floor drain hole which cannot pass through it, then you have to pick it with your hand or have to remove the floor drain.

Coming to prices of both the things, then this both are of almost similar price, but somewhere you can find Floor trap to be a bit of high price as compared to Floor drain because of its additional function.
