QQ: when i finish this git clone there's a new folder created. Should i place SD3 model to the model folder within the new folder? And where should i put the new created SD3 folder to... under Webui root folder i assume?

Actually StableSwarmUi is just a layer on ComfyUI , just as buggy and a disaster. First thing I did was throw everything out and run ComfyUI pure. But lets face a plate full of spaghetti get you filled at least, I love tinkering but Comfy takes the fun out of it.

I don't know how this scenario compares, but I think it would be more polite to request an ETA than assume it could be either instant or mere days, the open source community needs to be patient for the devs to do their thing.

Like I said, we should just wait for the finetunes or perhaps even do it ourselves. PurpleSmartAI might be one of the first to finetune a legibly working model SD3 with anatomy with their Pony Diffusion V6.9/V7 XL. Their dataset image count will go from under a million to the tens of millions, so expect quality results.

With how badly SAI always fumbles their releases, and this time it's no different, honestly there's no rush and it's even better this way without a bleeding edge day 1 update. Support will happen in time, same as any other past release, maybe by the time it's added an actually decent model might even be out.

I'm asking because comfyUI just put out an update with Sd3 support and I'm wondering if the same will be required in A1111

.9 SDXL leaked early due to a partner, they most likely didn't take the same risk this time around. ComfyUI has special access because, to my understanding, they have team members at the StabilityAI facility or some kind of direct tie to StabilityAI. This is one reason StabilityAI pushes/likes comfyui so much.

this command is just cloning new instance of stable diffusion with taking sources from branch related to the SD3. you can move that "sd3folder" anywhere and it works same as previous sd, so you should copy sd3 models inside it's "sd3folder/models/stable difusion/".

What is the exact prompt for terminal to git hub to update Automatic1111 to be able to use this checkout? I imagine it is :> git update chechout 16030 ???? something? It's been awhile since I did a pull on Stable.... Because the last update broke my system with python new version.

You can put the checkpoints anywhere and tell the program where they are I like the symbolic link idea but it isn't needed.. for myself on Windows I just made one folder for my models and symlink it to every instance of a1111/forge/stableswarm/comfy that I'm using, you can do it easy with command prompt:

You are right StableSwarmUI is a good program and uses both comfy and Automatic1111 as backends. I have used it for awhile. ComfyUI is difficult to say the least and can be very much confusing to use. I have used it to do a simple workflow but after trying to use a preloaded "Monster" workflow and installing the dependencies, it still didn't work and gave me more of a headache than it was worth. I am back to just using SDXL until Automatic1111 has a fix or there is a workaround. This is what we are stuck with for now... I guess no "Adult" or Grown up AI art will be coming out of SD3 until we have access in Auto and LoRa's to be developed. I will wait until the time it is made available or just use what we already have unfortunately.

But yeah, no SD version has been "good" at making anatomy, genitalia or else, whether it's for pornographic or artistic intent. Wait for the finetunes. It sucks about the censorship, but all due respect, there isn't much of it. There's blood, hell, you can even say racist prompts and it'll come out with the intended stereotype

I'm not sure why stability needs to work on someone else's project that isn't affiliated with them. Automatic1111 isn't owned by Stability. He's just a guy that made a UI.
