Check the Packaging If you retained it, check the manufacturer's original box. Often, but not always, the model number and/or name will be printed on the manufacturer's box. It might also appear on a label affixed to the box. If you have retained the shipping carton itself, some manufacturers (like Blueair) include the model name and/or number on the ship carton. It may also appear on a label affixed to the carton. If you have the manufacturer's original box and/or ship carton, but the model name and/or number is not shown, check to see if any of the labeling includes a UPC number. This is typically 12 digits (and less typically 13 or 14 digits), and appears under the barcode. If so, go to: www.google.com and enter the UPC number (make sure to type in "UPC" with a space before typing in the number so Google knows it's looking for a UPC. Check the Documentation If you have an original invoice or packing list, the model number could appear on this documentation. If you have an Owner's Manual check the cover. Some manufacturers (Hunter is one of them) put the exact model name and number on the cover of the Owner's Manual. This is the key to finding your model in the filter wizard. Sometimes manufacturers will put the air purifier series number(not the exact model number, but the series it comes from) on the cover of their Owner's Manual (more times than not, this is what Honeywell does). Typically, the first 3 or 4 digits of 5-digit number (at least in the case of Honeywell) can be used to narrow down your search. In other cases (like on the Whirlpools), you may only see a number that looks on the surface to be more like a document number - it might even appear in an obscure area on the cover. However, this could help you get closer to the actual model number. For example, if the number in the lower lefthand corner of the cover page of your Whirlpool Owner's Manual reads "WP-AP510" then you own a Whirlpool Whispure 510 model. While you are still missing the rest of the digits that make up the full model number, this at least narrows the choices down.

Backflow describes the unwanted reverse flow of water. All water supply systems intended for human use, food preparation, utensil washing or oral hygiene must be protected from contact with contaminated water. This applies to water services connected to rainwater tanks, our regions’ main water supply and/or alternative water supplies. Contamination of potable water supplies can cause serious health risks.

To remind the owner that their backflow prevention device is due for testing, we issue a First and Final Notice at the beginning of the month that the device is due to be tested. Failure to comply with the notice will result in a Show Cause Notice being issued, and then an Enforcement Notice with legal ramifications if no action is taken.
There are a number of different types of backflow prevention devices available that can only be installed, inspected and tested by a licensed plumber with a backflow prevention device endorsement.
