ReadyTemp® monitors temperature using a "precision grade" stainless steel "water contacting" temperature probe. It consistently and accurately measures temperature, cycling the internal TACO pump, only as needed, maintaining water at the homeowners dialed-in temperature.  ReadyTemp®'s unique space-industry engineered manifold achieves ‘positive bypass flow restriction’ using an integrated ‘normally closed’ solenoid valve for industry-record efficiency and savings.  This more efficient bypass valve prevents any water from siphoning out of the hot water line and into the cold water line during the homeowner’s use of cold water inside or outside of the home.  Inefficient ‘normally open’ thermostatic bypass/comfort valves remain open any time 95F or hotter water is not present in the line resulting in repeated, unnecessary and expensive demand on the water heater.
