Smart Mode – The SmartPlus has two operating modes – “Smart” or “Pulse”. Set the control board toggle switch to the desired mode and the SmartPlus does the rest! The pump never needs to be reset and NO TIMER OR AQUASTAT IS REQUIRED to control pump operation. Hot water is always available in seconds.

The SmartPlus ® Hot Water Recirculation incorporates an adjustable dial located on the circuit board. This new feature enables the pump’s run time to be set anywhere between 1 to 10 minutes. This adjustable run time optimizes the pump’s cycle timing to fit system requirements. In systems with shorter runs of piping the SmartPlus ® Hot Water Recirculation can be set to cycle for a shorter period of time. For larger systems with longer runs of piping the SmartPlus ® Hot Water Recirculation can be set to cycle for a longer duration of time to provide optimal hot water comfort when it’s needed.

Comparing a traditional water softener with a “salt-free water softener” is confusing. The term “salt-free water softener” is highly misleading—salt-free water softeners do not exist. Water conditioning—however—can effectively take place without the use of salt.

Pulse Mode – An optional “Pulse” mode can be selected which sets the SmartPlus to run for the preset duration every 10 minutes maintaining hot water at all fixtures.

While in vacation mode the pump will cycle on once every 7 days and run for 10 seconds to prevent any corrosion or scale buildup.

In the event of a power outage the new SmartPlus ® Hot Water Recirculation retains its internal timer and all recorded hot water usage data will be saved for 72 hours. When power is restored, it will automatically return to its normal operating mode providing hot water when it is needed.

Using state-of-the-art electronics, the SmartPlus® Hot Water Recirculation will monitor and record the home’s hot water usage pattern for the first 7 days of operation. For the next 7 days, the SmartPlus ® Hot Water Recirculation repeats the preceding week’s usage pattern to cycle the pump, providing instant hot water at all fixtures only when needed. This process will be repeated every week.

SmartPlus ® Hot Water Recirculation can save up to 12,000 gallons of water each year and reduce electrical consumption up to 94% when compared to traditional continuous run domestic hot water recirculation pumps. Before we can fully customize a HealthyHome Water Filtration System for your home, we need to assess your household water quality and determine present levels of chlorine, chloramines, carcinogens, fluoride, chromium 6, arsenic, and other contaminants. From there, we review hardness levels, count all the fixtures on the property, determine the plumbing size and infrastructure, calculate flow rates, measure water pressure and check regulator settings.

And neither is water quality. Pure and simple. Some claim to remove chloramines with basic, generic filters. Others state they can remove fluoride with no maintenance for years or that their one-size-fits-all product will address every water quality issue.
