Wastewater is the water we have used in our homes, schools, businesses and industries. It goes down drains from sinks, baths, showers, laundries and toilets and other drains inside buildings.

Wastewater that is cleaned, treated and purified and stormwater, when harvested and treated, can be recycled for many uses including watering parks and gardens, irrigating farms or used in industrial processes and manufacturing.  Recycled water is not used in NSW for drinking.

Stormwater refers to the water resulting from rain draining into the stormwater system from roofs, roads, footpaths and other ground surfaces. Stormwater can include sewage from sewer overflows.

ValvCheq RP03 (RPZ) backflow valves play a critical role in maintaining the safety and integrity of your water supply. They prevent backflow, a potentially hazardous condition where water flows in the opposite direction, which could lead to contamination of the water supply.

Water recycling refers to the treatment and reuse of sewage, greywater and/or stormwater, for non-potable (non-drinking) purposes.

We pay respect to the Traditional Custodians and First Peoples of NSW, and acknowledge their continued connection to their country and culture.

Unlike the Double Check Valve an RPZ will dump the contaminated water out of the port on the bottom of the device ensuring a higher level of safety. With a ValvCheQ RP03 reduced pressure zone valve in place, you can trust that your water supply is secure, maintaining the quality and safety standards that are essential for health and wellbeing.
