Whether you need a solution that provides anti-scald protection at the heat source, the point-of-use, or somewhere in between, Cash Acme has the TMV plumbing solution to fit your needs.

John got this one.  I have seen numerous mis-matched held help meters and cameras.  It is always better to meter light at the subject instead of at the camera.  Are you holding each at the same place?  A hand held light meter does not go through the lens for one reason.

Cash Acme is an experienced supplier of thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), providing an extensive range of devices for residential, commercial, industrial and even hydronic heating applications. Also commonly referred to as anti-scalding valves, our TMVs accurately control the temperature of hot water at the source of heat (water heater) to deliver point-of-use (showers, sinks, lavatories, bath tubs, etc.) water at safe, controlled temperatures, regulate water distribution and flow and provide sanitary anti-scald protection.

Cash Acme thermostatic mixers can also be used to blend the flow and return in underfloor hydronic and radiant floor heating systems. They provide a safe, energy efficient and stable temperature in the heating system, preventing heat damage to the building and creating safer underfloor surfaces.

However, I did come across this Canon Learning Center video that pointed out some interesting features of the 7D Mk II's built in metering. The dual spot metering feature was especially interesting to me.

Cash Acme temperature mixing valves are manufactured according to ISO 9001 standard, ASSE / IAPMO / CAS fully certified, and come preset at 120 F to fit standard U.S. and Canadian plumbing codes. Each thermostatic mixing valve is tested for function, safety, and performance before leaving our factory.

Does the camera expose correctly in reflected mode i.e. the in-camera meter? Does the hand held give appropriate results with a different camera?
