Thermostatic mixingvalve adjustment

The Altecnic TMV range covers use with hot and cold water, with inlet pressures of up to 14 bar, maximum inlet temperatures of 85°C, and temperature controls of +/-2°C. Why use a TMV? In domestic settings, TMVs are particularly important where young children and the elderly are present. Typically, people in these demographics are at particular risk of life-threatening scalds due to a potential lack of mobility and skin sensitivity. Fitting can be a legal requirement. The primary feature of a TMV is that it offers additional safety via a thermal shutdown mechanism. In the event of a disruption to the hot or cold water supply to the valve, the failsafe design shuts off the mixed water flow automatically. For further information on our mixing valves, head over to our FAQs page. Did you know we also offer a 5-year warranty on our popular models of TMVs?
