Please note when selecting tanks consider that the actual available water capacity is only about 50% of vessel volume.  The actual water capacity is also dependent on the bladder pressure ( 50 kPa) – this pressure should be measured  when the tank is empty!

The internally  food grade plastic coated steel tank has a  stainless steel connector. A tank ball valve (not included)  enabling connection with the tubing via quick connect  or other fittings. It comes with a tank stand. The white or grey  coloured tank has a side or top mounted air valve.  Options available are listed below:

GP Series general purpose ball valve features a live-loaded floating ball design that allows the valves to seal independent of upstream pressure enabling them to be used in a much wider range of applications than conventional floating ball valves. Live-loading compensates for seat wear and reduces actuation torque making them a good choice for demanding high-cycle applications. GP Series low-temperature ball valves are designed for applications from -40 to 200°F (-40 to 93°C) such as high-pressure CNG filling applications.

This RO water storage tank is a pressure tank specially designed for a residential or commercial RO system where there is a requirement to provide a higher instantaneous flow rate.  A bladder is a balloon inside a tank that fills with water when there is pressure that is greater than that already in the bladder. A check valve stops the water from flowing backwards and reserves the water and pressure for use by the device it is feeding. This unique design also eliminates the need for a pump, as the bladder will act as a pump that uses no power. The tank will accumulate water and provide pressure at the dispensing faucet or point of usage. The bladder inside the tank will keep the purified water under pressure due to  the compressed air inside the bladder. This will ensure that water is supplied at a steady flow rate whilst the tank is drained.
