The tip I will give is that there might be a situation where someone forgets to turn the gas shutoff off before disconnecting this quick connect. There is actually a built in check valve to close the line so gas doesn't start spewing everywhere. If this happens, it is very difficult to reconnect the fitting after shutting the gas valve off. Simply stick your pinky finger up into the wall side of the fitting and push the ball. This will reset the ball valve so that you can reconnect the fitting.
