Domestic hot water heaters. The TE tanks take up the expanded water from a water heater when a backflow device is installed on the heater inlet.

Welded construction for long and reliable service. Heavy duty butyl diaphragm for use with potable water. The tank connection has a plastic sleeve to protect against corrosion along with internal coating of the steel shell. All models are factory pre-charged to 40 psi.

SKU 825HBV This assembly is obsolete, having been replaced by the lead free version 2" LF825YSeries 825Y "Y" Pattern Design Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies are used to protect against high hazard (toxic) fluids in water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants. They are also used in irrigation systems, boiler feed, water lines and other installations requiring maximum protection. They feature a bronze body and threaded ball valve shutoffs. Maximum Working Pressure: 175psi (12.1 bar).
