My incoming pressure is 90psi per a pressure gage, and the water temperature is on the lowest tolerable setting. I know 90psi is high, but the tag on the valve is set for 150psi, and it hasn't leaked in 10 years. Thanks P.

The temperature and pressure relief valve on my water heater has a drip about every 3 seconds. I cycled the valve, and I had to work it a few times to get it to stop running. But it continued to drip. I know they probably don't cost much, but it's a long ride to the supply store. Can I clean this valve and expect success? Or is it just going to come back? Mineral build up is not much of a problem in this area. I'm sure most of you pros just replace them to save a return visit, but maybe someone has more intimate knowledge of this valve.
