Used to strain foreign matter from pipelines and provide economical protection for costly pumps, meters, valves, and other similar mechanical equipment. These are especially critical where weld debris is often present in the pipeline. Well suited for long service in high pressure and temperature applications. Class 150.

WATTS® Potable Water Expansion Tank, Series: PLT, 4.5 gal Capacity, 3/4 in Connection, Male Connection, Steel, 150 lb/sq-in Working, 20 lb/sq-in Pre-Charge Pressure, 200 deg F, 13-1/2 in H x 10-1/2 in Dia

Mueller SteamY Strainer

Series PLT potable water expansion tanks are designed to absorb the increased volume of water created by thermal expansion and to maintain balanced pressure throughout the potable water supply system. Series PLT tanks feature a pre-pressurized steel tank with an expansion membrane that prevents contact of the water with the air in the tank. This prevents loss of air to the water and ensures long and trouble-free life for the system. These tanks may be used with all types of Direct Fired Hot Water Heaters (gas, oil or electric) and hot water storage tanks.
