These cartridges come standard with built-in pre and post filters to keep the DI resin from being washed out of the filter cartridge.

Granular activated carbon cartridges are highly effective at removing high levels of chlorine and chloramines. They are also highly effective at removing volatile organic compounds such as benzene, trichloroethylene and other petroleum-based contaminants.

It plays a major role in ensuring that your system is performing at it’s best and continues to do so. It will alert you to when it is time to replace RO membranes and DI resin as well as ensure that the production water you are placing into your RO storage container is of the best quality possible with a 0 ppm TDS reading. Without a monitor, it is all just guesswork.

The DI resin supplied by Reef Pure RO Systems is a mixed bed (both cation and anion) with colour changing indicator to let you know when it has become exhausted. The resin starts as a dark blue colour that will turn gold as it becomes exhausted. This gives you a very visual indicator, making sure you know when it is time for it to be replaced.

Just some of the water contaminants that these membranes will remove are lead, copper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, and selenium.

Our ‘Premium’ range of RO/DI systems, across all stage variations, include all optional accessories as well as 2 x 50GPD RO membranes. These systems do require a minimum water pressure of 65psi.

Advanced membrane technology and automated fabrication allow these elements to deliver consistent performance that you can rely on.

Reef Pure RO Systems have designed all of our RO/DI units with Australian reef aquariums in mind. However, the water that they produce is perfect for all other types of saltwater and freshwater aquariums.

What isradiantheat in a house

Manufactured from a high-quality, FDA-approved polypropylene. This membrane housing will accommodate most standard 2" x 12" membrane elements. Both the ribbed cap and housing are one-piece injection moulded parts, so no solvents or glues are used in the manufacturing process.

This premium mixed bed, colour changing resin contains both cation and anion resins combined in the one bag. It is a nuclear grade deionisation resin that will physically change colour as it becomes exhausted, alerting you to when it is time to replace it, even if you don't have a TDS monitor on your system.

The minimum operating pressure for an RO unit is 50psi and it is essential to monitor this to ensure that your system is always working at an optimal level. RO membranes will produce more wastewater and high TDS production water when operating with insufficient pressure.

Pressure below the minimum required 65psi will cause the slow production of product water, with excess production of wastewater. Whilst, pressure over 100psi may cause damage to the RO/DI system’s filters and other components.

Carbon blocks are manufactured with high purity coconut shell activated carbon. With high performance, great dirt-holding capacity and the absence of carbon fines, they are perfect for use in reef aquarium RO/DI units, where high chlorine removal is needed.

Pure-Pro reverse osmosis membrane elements are one of the industry’s most reliable. Advanced membrane technology and automated fabrication allow these elements to deliver consistent performance that you can rely on. A high quality, thin film composite (TFC) membrane that processes 50 gallons per day. Just some of the water contaminants that these membranes will remove are lead, copper, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate, and selenium.

DI resin is a necessary part of any RO system used to produce water for your reef aquarium. It will ensure that your system produces reef safe water with total dissolved solids (TDS) reading of zero.

The Pressure Gauge Membrane Housing Connector is perfect for mounting any 1/8” M Connection pressure gauge to your RO system.

So, as long as the minimum water pressure can be provided, they will produce water twice as fast as a single standard 50 GPD membrane whilst cutting the amount of wastewater in half. If your home’s water pressure doesn’t reach the minimum 65psi required, don’t worry, you can add a booster which is sold separately.

Sediment filters remove sediment and debris that if allowed to pass through would clog carbon block filters and damage RO membranes. These filters have true step filtration integrated into their design. With 4 separate layers of micron filtration, the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap the larger micron particles with a much lower pressure drop.

A mixed bed deionization resin is the final, polishing stage of the RO/DI system. It will remove any contaminants that may have passed through your sediment/carbon filters and RO membrane. This stage will achieve the 0 TDS RO water you need for a successful reef aquarium.

PurePro granular activated carbon cartridges are highly effective at removing high levels of chlorine and chloramines. They ensure that even the highest levels of chlorine and chloramine are removed from your tap water. They are also highly effective at removing volatile organic compounds such as benzene, trichloroethylene and other petroleum-based contaminants.

Our 5 stage systems are housed on 2 separate brackets, separating the single deionisation stage from the rest of the system. Installing this system is very simple but is better suited to a permanent installation due to the additional bracket.

Step-by-step, trapping the larger particles layer-by-layer, allows these filters a much higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges.

If your home’s tap water pressure is below 65psi we strongly recommend the addition of a booster pump. All Reef Pure RO systems can have a pump added as an optional extra.

Stop before you do anything with your home heating or cooling, or specifically geothermal or with heat pumps, talk to these guys. We've had a very complicated geothermal heating system, multiple heat exchangers, underfloor heating, pumps and also water cooled AC. Jimmy and the team were the only ones who knew absolutely everything that needed to be done to get it working properly, efficiently. Not only that they explained everything along the way and made sure the system and us as the users were operating it and it was properly setup. My only wish is that we'd engaged Radian Heating and Cooling earlier in the process it would have saved so much time and effort. These guys solved lots of problems others couldn't and set the system up much better and with more reliability. They are always ready to answer a quick question and very responsive. I rarely write reviews but these guys really deserve the review and you'll be very happy you engaged them. Thanks Jimmy and team !

All Reef Pure RO/DI systems feature high-quality, Mixed Bed Colour Changing DI Resin stages for 0ppm TDS water and include a full set of filters with the system.

When we moved into our house last year, just as winter was setting in, we realised we needed to retrofit 2x 30yr old gas boilers for our underfloor heating system. After trying to get quotes, install times from other vendors, Radiant were able to come out on short notice and inspect our system / requirements. Sizing the system was quite complex given the type of piping used in original build, the layout of our house, expected usage of each section and the potential heat loss from single pane windows. Within a few weeks, Radiant were on on site installing 2x new electric heat pumps including the relocation of DHW units / buffer tanks to make better use of our internal space. Once installed, our house was nice and warm throughout the depths of a Southern Highlands winter and the efficiency of the unit was much better, and I continue to gain efficiencies through minor adjustments (timer settings, buffer tank temperatures etc) which I discuss with the Radiant team. Been a pleasure to work with Jimmy and Josh

The 5 Stage Reef Pure RO/DI systems are designed for Australian reefers who have tap water that is treated with high amounts of chlorine and chloramines, along with common levels of other contaminants.

These cartridges can be filled with your filtration media of choice in order to create a filter cartridge that is custom to your specific needs.
